Ascot
Ascot is a village and civil parish in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead in Berkshire, England, situated approximately 6 miles southwest of Windsor. It is internationally renowned for Ascot Racecourse, the prestigious horse-racing venue that hosts Royal Ascot, one of the most celebrated meetings in the flat-racing calendar. The village lies within the former royal hunting ground of Windsor Forest and retains a largely affluent, semi-rural character.
