The Crawley family splits in two directions some heading to a mysterious inherited villa in the south of France, others staying home to host a glamorous Hollywood film production at Downton itself. The second Downton Abbey film is an affectionate and sun-drenched farewell for Maggie Smith's matchless Dowager Countess.
