Hunterston House

Hunterston House is a Category B listed Neoclassical country house located in West Kilbride, North Ayrshire, Scotland, built in the 19th century to the north of the historic Hunterston Castle as a grander residence for the Clan Hunter family. The house features a principal facade with a pedimented porch and fluted Doric columns, and sits within a designed landscape of woodland and pasture. Today, its setting is significantly altered by the nearby Hunterston Nuclear Power Station and ore terminal.
