Finsbury Park
Finsbury Park is a large public park situated on the boundary of the London Borough of Islington and the London Borough of Haringey in north London. The park was opened in 1869 and covers approximately 115 acres, providing sports facilities, a boating lake, and open green space for a densely populated area of north London. The surrounding district, also known as Finsbury Park, is a busy residential and commercial area served by Finsbury Park Underground and National Rail station on the Victoria and Piccadilly lines. The station is a major interchange and the park hosts large outdoor music events in summer.
