Heydon Hall
Heydon Hall is an Elizabethan country house in the village of Heydon in Norfolk, approximately fifteen miles north-west of Norwich. The hall was built in 1581 and is one of the finest examples of Elizabethan architecture in East Anglia, remaining in private ownership. The surrounding village of Heydon is exceptionally well preserved and is an estate village with a notable village green, a pub, and traditional cottages. The hall and its grounds are not regularly open to the public.
