Police Training College

The Metropolitan Police Service's Peel Centre, previously known as the Hendon Police College, is the principal training facility for the Metropolitan Police, located in Hendon in the London Borough of Barnet. The site has been used for police training since 1934 and covers a large area in north London with a variety of training facilities including a motor driving circuit, firearms ranges, and classroom buildings. The college trains new recruits to the Metropolitan Police as well as providing specialist and continuing professional development courses. It is located close to the M1 motorway near Brent Cross.
