Cayton Bay Holiday Camp

Cayton Bay is a sandy bay and beach situated approximately three miles south of Scarborough on the Yorkshire coast, backed by low cliffs and reached by a steep path from the clifftop. A holiday camp and caravan park has operated on the clifftop above the bay for many decades and the area is popular with surfers due to its reliable wave conditions. The bay lies between Scarborough to the north and Filey to the south on the coast of North Yorkshire. The area is within the Yorkshire Wolds landscape and close to the coast path.
