Bluebird Restaurant

Bluebird Restaurant, Kensington, London, England

The Bluebird is a restaurant and food market located in a large early 20th-century garage building on the King's Road in Chelsea, in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The building was built in 1923 as the Bluebird Garage, then one of the largest garages in London, and the name commemorates Malcolm Campbell's Bluebird land speed record cars. It was converted into its current use by Sir Terence Conran and opened as a restaurant and food store in 1997. The venue is a distinctive landmark on the King's Road.
