Bloxworth House

Bloxworth House, Wareham, Dorset, England

Bloxworth House is a historic country house located in the village of Bloxworth in Dorset, approximately five miles north-west of Wareham. The house dates principally from the late 17th century and is a Grade II* listed building set in parkland within the Dorset heathland. The surrounding parish is part of the heathland landscape that Thomas Hardy described as Egdon Heath in his Wessex novels. The house is privately owned and lies within the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
