Worthing
Worthing is a coastal town in West Sussex, England, situated on the English Channel between Brighton and Chichester. It grew as a fashionable seaside resort from the late 18th century, reportedly following a visit by Princess Amelia in 1798, and retains a long shingle beach, a Victorian pier, and a promenade. The town is the largest settlement in West Sussex with a population of approximately 110,000. Worthing is known for its mild climate, cultural facilities, and as the setting for Oscar Wilde's play The Importance of Being Earnest.
