London Eye
The London Eye is a large cantilevered observation wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in central London, adjacent to the Westminster Bridge. Standing 135 metres tall, it was the world's tallest observation wheel when it opened in March 2000 and remains one of the tallest in Europe. The wheel contains 32 sealed and air-conditioned passenger capsules and offers panoramic views across London, with visibility extending up to 40 kilometres in clear conditions. It is one of the most visited paid attractions in the United Kingdom.
