Glencree

Glencree is a remote valley in the Wicklow Mountains, County Wicklow, situated above Enniskerry and accessible via the R115 road that crosses the mountains. The valley contains the Glencree Centre for Peace and Reconciliation, established in a former British military barracks and reformatory school. The surrounding landscape is characterised by open moorland, conifer plantations, and the rugged Wicklow uplands. Glencree River flows through the valley before joining the Dargle River below.
