Camber Sands
Camber Sands is a large beach and sand dune system on the East Sussex coast, near the village of Camber approximately two miles east of Rye. The beach is notable for its extensive pale sand dunes, which are unusual on the southeast English coast, and stretches for approximately three miles along the English Channel shoreline. The area is popular with day-trippers from London and the southeast, and the dune system forms part of a nature reserve supporting important plant and insect communities.
