Windsor and Eton Railway Station

Windsor and Eton Railway Station, Windsor, Berkshire, England

Windsor and Eton Central station is the terminus of a branch line from Slough, located in the centre of Windsor in Berkshire, immediately adjacent to Windsor Castle. The station was originally opened in 1849 by the Great Western Railway to serve the royal town and castle, and the station building is a Grade II listed Victorian structure with an ornate facade. The station is operated by GWR and also houses a visitor exhibition, and is one of two railway stations in Windsor, the other being Windsor and Eton Riverside served by South Western Railway trains from Waterloo.
