Wilton’s Music Hall

Wilton's Music Hall, London, England

Wilton's Music Hall is a historic music hall located on Graces Alley, off Cable Street, in the Whitechapel area of east London, in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. Opened in 1859, it is considered the oldest surviving grand music hall in the world, and retains much of its original ornate Victorian interior despite years of neglect and subsequent restoration. The building, a Grade II* listed structure, now operates as a heritage venue hosting theatre, music, and arts events, and is an important example of Victorian popular entertainment architecture.
