Well Walk
Well Walk is a historic residential street in the village of Hampstead in north London, situated close to Hampstead Heath in the London Borough of Camden. The street takes its name from the chalybeate spring and wells that made Hampstead a fashionable spa town in the 18th century, attracting visitors from London seeking the supposedly health-giving mineral waters. Well Walk is lined with attractive Georgian and Victorian terraced houses and has been home to numerous notable residents including the painter John Constable and the poet John Keats.
