Syon House
Syon House is a historic country house located on the north bank of the River Thames in Brentford, in the London Borough of Hounslow, just west of central London. The house, the London residence of the Duke of Northumberland, dates in its present form from the 16th century and was remodelled in the 18th century by the architect Robert Adam, who created a series of magnificent state rooms considered among the finest examples of neoclassical interior design in Britain. The house is set within Syon Park, which includes gardens landscaped by Capability Brown and the Great Conservatory designed by Charles Fowler.
