Prideaux Place
Prideaux Place is an Elizabethan country house located overlooking the town of Padstow on the north Cornwall coast. It has been the home of the Prideaux-Brune family since it was built in 1592 and remains a private family residence. The house features an ornate plasterwork ceiling in the great chamber and is set within grounds that include deer parks and a walled garden with views over the Camel Estuary and the surrounding countryside. The house and gardens are open to the public during summer months and have been used as a filming location for a number of television productions.
