Portobello Road

Portobello Road is a street in Notting Hill in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, London, running north from Notting Hill Gate to Ladbroke Grove. It is internationally famous for its antiques market, held primarily on Saturdays, which is one of the largest antiques markets in the world. The street also hosts a general fruit and vegetable market on weekdays and a section selling second-hand clothing and collectibles towards its northern end. The road and its surroundings were made famous to international audiences through the 1999 film Notting Hill.
