Lulworth Beach

Lulworth Beach, Dorset, England

Lulworth Beach is a small sandy beach located at Lulworth Cove on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, on the southern coast of England. The beach lies within the almost circular bowl of Lulworth Cove and is sheltered by the surrounding chalk and limestone cliffs that give the cove its distinctive enclosed shape. The area is part of the Jurassic Coast UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognised for its remarkable sequence of geological formations spanning the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods. The beach and surrounding coastal walks are managed partly by the Lulworth Estate and are extremely popular with visitors.
