Slough
Slough is a large town in Berkshire, England, located approximately 20 miles west of Central London and adjacent to the border with Greater London. It developed significantly as an industrial town during the 20th century, particularly following the establishment of the Slough Trading Estate in 1920, which became one of the largest industrial estates in Europe. The town is served by the Great Western Main Line and is connected to the London Underground via the Elizabeth line. Slough is widely known in popular culture as the fictional setting for the BBC television series The Office.
