Duns Castle

Duns Castle is a castellated country house located on the edge of the town of Duns in the Scottish Borders, approximately seventeen miles west of Berwick-upon-Tweed. The castle incorporates a medieval peel tower dating from 1320 and was largely remodelled in the Scottish baronial style in the nineteenth century. The estate of approximately 1,000 acres includes a nature reserve with two lochs and ancient woodland. The castle is a private residence but is available for hire for weddings and events.
