Clandon Park

Clandon Park, Guildford, Surrey, England

Clandon Park is a Palladian country house located in the village of West Clandon in Surrey, approximately three miles east of Guildford. The house was built around 1731 to a design attributed to the Venetian architect Giacomo Leoni for the second Baron Onslow. It was seriously damaged by a fire in April 2015 which destroyed much of the interior, and the National Trust, which owns the property, has undertaken a long-term restoration project. The grounds include formal gardens designed in part by Capability Brown.
